iResto BV, Pastoor Cramerstraat 2E, 6102 AC Echt, the Netherlands (iResto), is the controller for personal data processed through the website irestohome.nl and the web portal home.iresto.nl. Privacy questions: info@iresto.nl.
Account data (name, email address, encrypted password), the composition of your household as you enter it (number of people, age group, diet, allergens, intolerances and dislikes), your weekly planning, your basket and order history, and the technical data needed to run the portal. Allergen and diet data are health data; we process them only to make dishes and products suitable for your household and only with your explicit consent, which you give when entering them and can withdraw at any time.
Children under sixteen have no account of their own. A parent or carer enters a child profile (first name or nickname, age group, diet and allergens). Child profiles are not visible outside your household and are not used for anything else.
iResto@home neither asks for nor stores supermarket credentials. Your basket is handed over through the official connections of the supermarket concerned. Checkout, delivery and the related data processing fall under that supermarket’s privacy policy.
To provide the service (weekly menu, portions, prices, basket), for the Plus subscription and chef bookings (invoicing and payment), to improve the platform based on aggregated usage and to send service emails. Newsletters are sent only after sign-up. We show nutritional values but give no nutritional advice.
We share personal data only with processors needed to deliver the service (hosting, email, payment provider), under a data processing agreement, within the EU or under appropriate safeguards. Chefs see aggregated order counts per dish, never who ordered. If you delete your account, all personal data is deleted or anonymised within thirty days. Invoice data is kept for seven years under the fiscal retention obligation.
You can access, correct, delete and export your data and object to processing through your account or via info@iresto.nl. You may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
The website uses functional cookies and, only with your consent, analytics cookies to measure how the site is used. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings at the bottom of the page.
iResto@home is a web portal for choosing chef dishes, planning a weekly menu and building a basket that you hand over to your own supermarket. The purchase of groceries is concluded between you and the supermarket; iResto is not a party to it. Prices shown are the supermarket’s prices at the time of calculation and may differ at checkout.
Basic use is free. Plus costs €4.99 per month including VAT, is charged monthly in advance and can be cancelled monthly up to the day before the next charge. After cancellation you keep access to everything in Free. Price changes are announced at least thirty days in advance.
A private chef booking is an agreement between you and the chef. iResto handles the reservation and payment and withholds a commission from the chef. Cancellation terms are shown with the booking.
Allergen information is based on chefs’ recipes and supermarket product data. Where information is incomplete we do not show a dish or product as safe. In case of a serious allergy, always check the label of the delivered product. iResto@home gives no medical or nutritional advice.
Your own recipes remain yours. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for the use of your account. Abuse or unlawful use may lead to suspension.
iResto makes every effort to keep the portal available and accurate but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Liability is limited to the amount you paid for Plus in the twelve months before the damage, except in case of intent or gross negligence. Dutch law applies. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
